Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Additional Director General has written a letter to DGP Karnataka requesting an inquiry into the incident wherein a commando of the central agency was tied with chains at a police station in Karnataka. According to sources, the Cobra (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) commando, named Sachin Savant was arrested by Belagavi Police on April 23 after an argument ensued over the former not wearing a mask while cleaning his bike outside his residence in the city.
